Socrates Sculpture Park Artist Circle

Once an abandoned landfill, our site was transformed in 1986 by a coalition of artists and community members, under the leadership of renowned artist Mark di Suvero, to become an open studio and exhibition space for artists.

Today, Socrates Sculpture Park is a premier destination as the only New York City park dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary art.

Your monthly support as an Artist Circle member will enable Socrates to continue to center and celebrate the artists we work with, as well as continue to present our artists' work to the public for free, 365 days of the year.

As a member of the Socrates Sculpture Park Artist Circle, you will also receive invitations to exclusive studio visits, 2 tickets to our 2024 Party in the Park, private park tours, and more.
